I started Marmalade way back in 2002 making glass pendants using a soldering iron, stained glass and fabric. Eventually I began taking silver smithing classes at George Brown to learn the basics of jewellery design. But most of the techniques that I use in my line I have learned through experimentation and self-teaching. I create my own joyful designs that people can find meaning in. I enjoy helping people create the perfect story using my charms. Knowing that they have been a part of the creative process brings me great joy and connection. I have grown from my backyard studio, to a studio in Leslieville in Toronto where we now craft every piece from beginning to end, including the metal casting process. My business is has grown to supply around 40 shops and galleries across Canada. We take part in quality handcrafted shows, and also sell our items online.
