Ron Lukian and Gail Hall, international award winning husband and wife team of glass artists have owned and operated their studios in Rawdon, Quebec since 1972. Their many years of experience is reflected in the quality and refinement of their work.
The Lukians are self taught in their respective mediums.
Ron does all the glass blowing using classic techniques. Gail mixes and formulates her own paint using powdered vitreous enamels and oils and varnishes. This “paint” is then applied by hand to the finished blown glass pieces. The glass is then fired to 1150F melting the enamel to the surface of the glass making the decoration absolutely permanent.
This technique took many years of research to develop and perfect.
On a personal note, Ron and Gail met on a blind date. Fate certainly played a hand in their union!
