I am a versatile artisan, using media such as glass, paint and pottery. I spent 30 years working with individuals with disabilities and during those years I self-taught myself the art of fused glass, to enable me to teach individuals with disabilities the same. After my retirement from social services, I created Livin’ the Dream Designs to fulfill my lifetime dream of being a full-time artisan, my studio is located in Elmira, Ontario. My work is currently featured at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington and the Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo along with the Floral Showplace in Niagara Falls.
The designs I create are both whimsical and classic. I pull from my hobby of birdwatching the many facets of nature, flowers, trees and animals. My glass is unlike other glass artisans that I have seen at other events and shows and online. I have always strived to provide a unique product that is not in competition with other artisans.
