I live in Dalhousie Quebec, in a century-old house. The front extension, formerly a general store, is now my workshop. When I was little, my grandmother who was Norwegian, (Claudinia Larsen) made me rag dolls, knitted fabrics with Scandinavian patterns; she made all kinds of wonders for me.

In turn, today, I would like to introduce you to feeling through my Scandinavian gnomes, which in my heart, are a tribute to my grandmother.

When I create a gnome, I choose the color and texture of the fabric, I immediately know the personality I am going to give it. It could be mischievous, festive, grumpy, elegant or even messy (that’s all me!). Each of them are unique, handmade with pride and passion.
