I am a maker based in Ottawa where I have lived for over 30 years. I have always been interested in design, decor, fine art. Over the years I have studied art, design, learned to sew and to quilt.

Along the way I studied at university, served in the military, fell in love, got married, had 2 incredible sons, got divorced, started a new career working for the government and looked for ways to feed my creative side.

After I studied colour theory as part of an interior design program I started to look at colour and design in a totally different way. When I transferred this understanding over to quilting I soon realized that even if I created 2 quilts using the same pattern, how I used and combined colour, pattern, size of pattern in the form of fabrics I could create a whole new feel in the final product… and I was hooked!
