Pottery has been in MJ’s life as hobby since childhood but it is in March 2020 that she decided to place it frontstage in her life and boldly founded Bumpy Roads Studio.

Throwing that the pottery wheel is MJ’s mindfulness practice and there is nothing she enjoys more than crafting objects for everyday use and abuse. She prioritizes simple forms, clean lines, soothing tones and material durability in her product designs in the hope that her pots will never go out of fashion and remain in one’s family for generations.

You will find the Studio’s home base in downtown Pembroke, Ontario.
